Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is an approach to personal and organizational change based on a model of intra and interpersonal communication.  It’s prime focus is the relationship between successful patterns of behaviour and the patterns of thought underlying them.  It seeks to educate people in self-awareness and effective communication, and to change their patterns of mental and emotional behaviour.

The co-founders, Richard Bandler and linguist John Grinder created the term Neuro Linquistic Programming to highlight the relationship between:

·         neurological processes ('neuro')

·         language ('linguistic') and

·         behavioral patterns that have been learned through experience ('programming')

NLP was originally developed as an effective and rapid form of therapy capable of addressing the full range of problems which psychologists are likely to encounter, such as phobias, depression, habit disorder, psychosomatic illnesses, and learning disorders.

It also focuses on the potential for self-determination through overcoming learned limitations and emphasises well-being and healthy functioning.

Later, it was promoted as a 'science of excellence', derived from the study or 'modeling of how successful or outstanding people in different fields obtain their results. NLP has considerable  influence in management training, life coaching and the self improvement practices.

How do we use NLP as a therapeutic or self-development tool?

The approach we take is to help you become aware of the negative conditioning and programming that is currently affecting your life and change these to more positive programs.

We also teach you how to apply these techniques in all aspects of your life.  You will learn how to reverse self-limiting habits and behavioural patterns and create the life you want.
